Wine Tours For Couples Recommendations

On our first trip to Ellijay we hired Ben with Ellijay Excursions. He took us on a wine tour during grape harvest season. We were able to see the inner workings of the vineyards, because Ben knows each and every vineyard owner. My fiance even helped make wine. We loved our experience so much that we bought a house in Ellijay and even got married at one of the vineyards. I highly recommend Ellijay Excursions for an amazing experience.

The winery tours with Ben, our driver, and the owner, was the best part of our vacation to Blue Ridge!! Ben is extremely knowledgeable about the area, the wineries, and the vineyards. We had picked 2 wineries we were interested in visiting and left the rest of the tour in Ben's hands. He did not disappoint!!! All of his recommendations were excellent and our party of 6 thoroughly enjoyed all 5 wineries and even a super cool brewery that Ben suggested. Wine Tours For Couples FAQs

Do the wine tours include food?

We can include food if it is pre-planned for the group. We can also recommend which vineyards might have restaurants or food trucks on site on your day of choice. Our basic package tours do not include food, but we are happy to arrange meals or transfers to restaurants. Just ask us and we will arrange the best option for your tour.

Will you still do the wine tour if there is only one couple?

Yes, we will do a wine tour if there are only two people. We will likely take a smaller vehicle but the cost and inclusions are the same.

Are we allowed to make changes to the schedule?

If you have booked your own custom tour, the van and the driver are YOURS for the day! You can start anytime during vineyard hours (11-6) and end whenever you’re ready. You can change the schedule, drop by a farm store, visit our private farm for animal encounters or ask our driver if any festival or events are happening. We are here to make the most of your day!

Do you provide the same tours every month?

Yes, we run tours every day except Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and Veterans Day.
